Segura Viudas

The Spanish winery Segura Viudas is located in the heart of the Penedès, the most important wine region of Catalonia in northeast Spain. Founded in 1957 by Manuel Segura Viudas, the winery has always produced high-quality cavas and was acquired by the Freixenet family in 1982/93. The current range includes five different wines and seven different cavas. Reserva Heredad, which ferments in the bottle for up to 30 months, is the premium product.

Exclusive Riesling wines from the G.H. von Mumm cellar originate from the world famous Rheingau. A 200-YEAR-HISTORY In 1794, Johann Friedrich Deinhard completed his business apprenticeship and founded a small wine shop in the ancient city of Koblenz. Located in central Germany, Koblenz was then and still being the gateway to the terraced vineyards and ruined castles, it was a hub for transport being situated at the merger of the Rhein and Mosel rivers. The first wines Johann sold, were Riesling from his parent’s vineyards in the Mosel Valley.
