5 x gold and 1 x silver at the Meiningers International Spirits Award 2019 – Wodka Gorbatschow clears up


A glistening performance at the Meiningers International Spirits Award (ISW) 2019 – that’s what Henkell Freixenet, the world’s leading producer of quality sparkling wine, can look back on. The company went home from the prestigious competition with five gold medals and a silver medal, awarded by a jury of international experts. The lion’s share went to Wodka Gorbatschow: no fewer than four products from Germany’s top vodka brand were awarded the coveted gold medal. Kuemmerling, the popular semi-bitter herbal liqueur, was awarded silver.
