Golden glow for Henkell Freixenet

The MUNDUS VINI 2020 spring tastings and the Berlin Wine Trophy resulted in 29 gold medals and two “Best of Show” awards

Superlative quality: With the latest results from the 2020 spring tastings as part of the famous MUNDUS VINI and Berlin Wine Trophy wine competitions, Henkell Freixenet ended up with 29 great reasons to raise a glass: The exciting, high-quality wines from the world’s leading producer of sparkling wine once again received great feedback from the panel of experts, who tasted and rated the premium sparkling wines. A total of 29 of Henkell Freixenet’s popular sparkling and still wines received one of the coveted gold medals in the competition. Two products were even hailed as the “Best of Show” in their category.

The Mionetto Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut Orange Label not only received the gold medal in the MUNDUS VINI competition but also the special accolade “Best of Show Prosecco for the Retail Market”. The best-selling international brand in the Prosecco segment represents the sophistication of the Italian lifestyle, combined with premium quality and controlled designation of origin. The Segura Viudas Brut Rosé also received two awards: The gold medal, along with the “Best of Show Cava Rosé”. One of the big winners for Henkell Freixenet was also the exclusive brand Champagne Alfred Gratien, whose submissions brought in a haul of ten gold medals from the events. Germany’s number-one premium sparkling wine brand – Fürst von Metternich – was also one of the winners.
