Schloss Johannisberg again awarded “World's Most Admired Wine Brands 2025” by Drinks International

First Riesling wine estate improves by 7 places in the ranking

Schloss Johannisberg, April 3rd, 2025 Once again, Schloss Johannisberg is the only German winery to be included in the prestigious list of “World’s Most Admired Wine Brands 2025” published by the British trade publication “Drinks International”. Schloss Johannisberg is listed in 37th place in the current edition, an improvement by 7 places in comparison to 2024. Schloss Johannisberg is therefore once again part of the exclusive group of the 50 most admired wineries in the world. A total of 32 European brands and 18 representatives from outside Europe were awarded in the ranking this year.

For the past 15 years, Drinks International has built up a comprehensive voting academy. The 100-strong panel comprises wine buyers, sommeliers, MWs, wine bar owners, writers, influencers and educators. Founded in 1972, the publication „Drinks International“ is one of the most important international media for wine, spirits and beer. The following criteria are decisive for the vote: wine quality, value for money and strength of brand & marketing.
