Mechanic + Electronics Technician = Mechatronics Technician. This profession combines the responsibilities of a Mechanic with those of an Electronics Technician (m/f/o). Your tasks include construction, assembly and installation.
Practical part: Your responsibilities include repairing, assembling and maintaining complex machines, plants and systems as well as manufacturing technical parts and adapting and optimising electric/pneumatic controls. Over the course of this training, you will learn fundamentals of metalworking, of electrical engineering as well as of pneumatics and control technology. Theoretical part: This part focuses on subjects related to the profession, including Technical Mathematics; Technology; Technical Communication; and Economics and Social Studies. All content is taught at the vocational school in Wiesbaden as well as on our premises. To complete your vocational training, you will take an examination at the Wiesbaden Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
You have a general certificate of secondary education (Realschulabschluss or equivalent) with good marks, technical interest as well as manual dexterity combined with a logical approach. Training begins on 1 September; vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/o) takes 3.5 years
